Way overpriced! We booked this apartments as it it was one of a very few with 4 bedrooms available. The positives first: The apartment is superbly located, just a few hundred meters from Alexanderplatz, and the bakery just beside it is open everyday so its easy to start off every morning with good quality fresh bread. The area is crowded with Vietnamese / Asian small restaurants, so its fairly easy to dine ok nearby.
The apartment is partly underground, its damp (and there was actually mold around the kitchen sink..... Yeuuck!). Communication with the representative was erratic (the phone was off when we arrived in Berlin so we could not get confirmed she would meet us at the apartment, fortunately she did, slow to respond at times, not always confirming even when asked to, slow to follow up on requests like late checkout).
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WIFI! When asked about it, the answer was that it was to far below ground.... Weird. The representative suggested we could use the wifi in the bakery, but that only works when you`re actually sitting there, and even then its slow. The TV signals in the apartment were not stable either.
All in all we managed, but at this price we would expect everyday amenities like internet, stable TV, mayby a place to do a little emergency laundry... Not really worth the price in my opinion.
The apartment was well located and was an easy walk to the places I wanted to go. I was met on time and the checkout, although early in the morning went smoothly. Unfortunately I didn't find the iron and ironing board until my last day, but other than that the apartment was comfortable and very liveable.
Having stayed in the Sophien Straße during an earlier stay, we knew thatvtge location was perfect. The apartment was well equipped and the balcony was an extra bonus. Access/Key turnover has to be improved, as we waited a bit too long! Departure worked well, as the young cleaning woman showed up exactly as scheduled.
Very accesible public transportation to touristic areas in Berlin and from & to the airport, just two blocks from Schönhauser Allee station. Everything in the apartment was OK, as shown in the information, and appliances working correctly. The area is very quiet, with shops, restaurants and supermarkets around. The reception by Mrs. Serpil Burnukara was excellent, as the checkout. The apartment has a lot of natural light and a small but nice terrace.
Me and my Family had a very pleasent stay, in this apartment. The location was perfect and the surroundings were nice. The facilities were perfect also, the host and staff who helped us with check-in and out were very sweet. I would
definitely, come back here. The only negative things would be the beds, that was very hard to sleep, and I couldn't really sleep properly. And also the internet was really bad. The connection would drop on and of all the time. But i generel it was a really nice Apartment.
A very light apartment with everything you need. Quiet, a place where you will find rest. Just one block away and you have the business of the city, nice restaurants and coffee bars and the U and S close to other parts of Berlin.
A very nice apartment. Very central, but in a quiet area. The flat has everything you need, including good beds.
A nice appartment for 4 in one of the best areas in Berlin! We had a perfect pre Christmas time. Shopping, Chritmas markets, food, beer and Glühwein.
A quiet neighbourhood at the end of Kurfurstendam. Good about this place: bakery close by, buss close by, grocery stores close by, and a playground for those with children. The apartment is on the ground floor, with insight from all passing by. But still a little away from the streets, so it's mostly those living in the apartment buildings that are passing. We could not adjust the temperature in the apartment, so I'm guessing it's centrally done. But beeing on the ground floor also ment that we found the apartment cold, at least for the couple of first days when we were there. We were here first week in July. The kitchen is ideally for four persons, we managed to fit six, but had then two small children a the end of the table. There were a small balcony for smokers in the kitchen, and the apartment did not have a livingroom. But I think this is quite common for apartments in Berlin. The floors were really squeeky, and to go quiet anywhere in the morning or at night, is not possible. The bedrooms are big. The bathroom really small, and out of date. You had to hold the shower because it was not possible to hang it. I would go back to Berlin and this neghbourhood, but not this apartment. The bathrooms matters a bit for me, and if I should give it a star, I would rate it to be two-star standard. But clean, and with a wifi.
